Automation Assistance has been providing services related to ECM technologies since 1986. We are an IBM FileNet ValueNet partner providing a full range of services including strategy, architecture, design, development, mentoring and optimization. We have been aligned with FileNet since 1997.

We have led client projects that have been recognized with FileNet's Innovation Award for Best Mission Critical Application. Our firm has a reputation for delivering highly successful projects and innovative solutions. Our forte is integrating FileNet products with line of business applications and complimentary best of breed technologies. We deliver solutions that provide significant return on investment and value to our clients.

Although highly focused on the P8 suite of products, we have worked with all the FileNet core products, development toolkits and most add on products that have been released over the past decade.

Many of the projects we work on incorporate technologies such as Captiva, Kofax and Adobe LiveCycle Forms. We leverage the FileNet P8 suite for its strengths and when necessary augment its capabilities with other specialized products. We are recognized for our system integration acumen. We have extensive experience in transactional content management. We understand the issues related to capturing, processing delivering and archiving the documents that automate mission-critical business processes.

When founded in 1986 Automation Assistance provided solutions designed for the document intensive legal environment. We were closely aligned with Wang Labs. At the time Wang Labs was the leading provider of word processing software and a pioneer in the document imaging market. Wang introduced it's Wang Integrated Imaging Solution (WIIS) in 1988 with advanced features for this time such as OCR, FAX gateways and virtual documents. It was this early exposure to imaging and high volume document management that set the course for Automation Assistance areas of specialization.
